Being Christian in an Anti-LGBTQ World
Colby Martin presents,
Standing Firm
Being Christian in an Anti-LGBTQ World
Standing Firm is a presentation created for those who are already LGBTQ Affirming but who hunger for ways to faithfully be Christian in a world that suddenly is becoming more and more anti-LGBTQ.
With less emphasis on the clobber passages, and more focus on how Scripture points to diversity and inclusion, Standing Firm invites audiences to embody the ways of Jesus, while also equipping them to engage with friends, family, and a society that is unkind and unwelcoming to LGBTQ people.
Things have taken a turn in our country as it relates to LGBTQ rights and inclusion. More and more those of us who are fully Affirming in our faith are asking the question…
How do I live out my Christian faith
in an anti-LGBTQ world?
What people are saying…

For churches and communities no longer held back by the clobber passages; for those already LGBTQ affirming; the question still remains, “What does it look like to BE Christian in an Anti-LGBTQ world?”
This presentation reveals themes of diversity and inclusion in Scripture, and uses practical tools to build rules of engagement for those in our life who do not affirm LGBTQ people.
Inspiring, honest, and empowering, Standing Firm is perfect for the already affirming Churches.
